Ford Taunus 12M with caravan.
The Taunus 12M took the Sportberger “egg” leisurely on vacation
Scaling the mountainside was no easy feat for the Ford 12 M. However, in tandem with the Sportberger L3, the vehicle always went the extra mile to afford the family a restful vacation - from the North Sea to Lake Garda. Fittingly labelled “the egg” by the people at the time, the camper epitomises the modesty of the era, a time when new experiences mattered more than comfort and convenience. And, seeing as the bicolour design of tractive unit and caravan created a perfect harmony of colours, the driver of the Ford was sure to turn heads at the side of the road.
