Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) type Gbkl 238 boxcar from the earlier Gl "Dresden" Interchange Type Gl. Short version, without handbrakes, brakemans platform, and brakemans cab. Version without doors on the end walls. The car looks as it did around 1972.
