Fortuna manure spreader silver/carmine red
When the manure had to be scattered on the field
The agricultural machines used in the seventies became markedly more innovative. This also applied to their colour scheme. Outfitted with aluminium boards, the Fortuna manure spreader supplanted the hitherto common wooden version in many areas.
WIKING replicated the bicolour design of the original with exact accuracy, thereby adding a model upgrade of the agricultural trailer that has been given a significant update.
The manure spreader was in constant use at the farming businesses of the time because every farmer back then - before the age of intensive livestock farming - was responsible for transporting the animal manure themselves - assisted by a manure spreader with a rotating auger on the rear that was powered by the hydraulic drive of the tractor and stirred up the cargo before spreading it evenly across the entire surface area of the fields.
