Refrigerated container with WIKING roots

Late but not too late, WIKING has taken on board the classic vehicles of the last forward-control generation with the Krupp logo on the radiator grille. Now the Krupp 806 with container cargo has come back into the range a contemporary semi-trailer that takes up the great logistics theme of the late 1960s. This Krupp stands for the phase-out and pending end of a great lorry brand that had supported the era of the German Economic Miracle with all its strength and reliability.

1964-68

Refrigerated container with WIKING roots

Tractor unit with steel blue cab and ruby red interior. Chassis with front and rear fenders as well as cardan part and wheels pastel orange. Headlamps imprinted silver. All-around decorative strips and door handles on the side also imprinted silver. Yellow-orange indicators, radiator grille with Krupp logo and silver trim. Semi-trailer with axle mounting and wheels pastel orange. First container white, imprinted with gentian blue Hapag Lloyd logo and black labelling. Second container also white with steel blue imprint of WL logo and company text. Inserted refrigeration units in steel blue and pastel orange.
