Flatbed truck (Magirus) "Thörl"
Thörls clear coat was indispensable in the nineteen sixties
Nothing worked in the fifties and sixties without this special protective coat. Clear coat was a common product that was distributed by the Thörl oil mills themselves. WIKING has miniaturised the legendary round hood with a contemporary advertising design. With the Magirus Sirius, the traditional model makers are upgrading the most famous classics in post-war history. Powered by the thundering air-cooled Deutz engine of the time, the lorry produced in Ulm epitomises an entire generation of lorries and was omnipresent on the roads of post-war Germany.
