MAN TGX GX Individual heavy duty rigid tractor "Max Bögl" (Bavaria/Sengenthal)
Almost 50 models have been realized in miniature so far in cooperation with Max Bögl from Sengenthal at Herpa. The latest draft horse of the large fleet comes from MAN and is certainly one of the more powerful with this 4-axle tractor. With tower cladding and the MAN individual equipment, the model feels like the original. What company founder Max Bögl started in 1929 with a bricklaying business (and already five years later had 40 employees and the first mobile concrete mixer in the district of Neumarkt), Max Bögl Junior expanded in 1955 to include road and sewer construction and the purchase of a first cable excavator (Unibag). In 1973, sons Max and Hans took over the business, while just one year later the company's founder was honored with the Bavarian Order of Merit (and died just another year later). Today, the company has over 6,500 employees at 49 locations worldwide and trains its own workforce in around 25 professions.
