Entry into the well-heeled Daimler world with the Dash Eight
It presented a gateway to the realm of well-to-do Daimler owners and its success was not long in coming. Anyone who had come to prosperity in the age of the Economic Miracle relied on Mercedes-Benz at the end of the sixties. Selling roughly two million times, the Dash Eight" of the W114 and W115 series turned out to be a triumph for Daimler-Benz after its release in 1967, selling nearly the same number of units as all other post-war cars combined! WIKING miniaturized the Mercedes-Benz 200/8 early on and realized the first generation with smooth round lights, which disappeared in the original after its facelift in 1973."

Body cream-beige, interior with long shelf in beige-brown. Chassis with radiator grille in silver, radiator grille surfaces imprinted black. Silver Mercedes-Benz wheel rims. Side door handles as well as ornamental strips and window surround painted silver. Tail lights imprinted carmine red. Silver Mercedes-Benz star on rear with 200 model designation and underscore.
