Fire brigade - Tanker truck (MB Pullman)
The tanker truck equips the fire brigade for special operations
The Mercedes-Benz Pullman tanker truck now rolling into the product range is a fire brigade specialist with a real-life brother that was the go-to vehicle for fire fighters dispatched on special calls. In the 1960s, tanker trucks were increasingly put into service throughout Europe in order to keep fire brigades equipped for the special requirements of their missions. The vehicles were chosen for their transport capacities in the areas of hazardous material or special fire extinguishing agents. The most common approach was to repurpose decommissioned tanker trucks before refurbishing them and making them ready for service after painting them in fire brigade red.
