The Kiev-based airlines was founded in 2009 as a subsidiary of the major Russian airline UTair. The very notable visual difference to its Russian parent company was the attractive tail design, inspired by traditional Ukrainian embroidery.

The airlines was sold in 2015 and rebranded as Azur Air Ukraine, with a focus as a leisure charter airline, its schedule domestic services being cancelled.
