Flygplan Swissair Douglas DC-4
HB-ILA was the first of a total of five DC-4s delivered to Swissair between 1946 and 1952. The long range of the four-engine Douglas aircraft allowed flights from Europe to North America, service to New York starting right after delivery of its first aircraft, named Genève on November 24, 1946.
