Flygplan Air France Airbus A220-300 F-HZUM "Bayeux"
As part of its fleet modernization program, but also to fulfill its pledge to reduce its emissions, the Airbus A220 has been steadily entering the Air France fleet since 2021, replacing the aging A318 an A319. This new production run in the 1/500 scale is named for the town in Normandie, northwestern France, most popular known for the Bayeux Tapestry depicting scenes of the Norman conquest of England in the 11th century.
