Flygplan Chair Airlines Airbus A319
Chair Airlines was initially founded in 2014 as Germania Flug, a subsidiary of the German airline Germania and Swiss investors. Following the bankruptcy of Germania in 2019, flight operations were continued with the help of new investors. The company name was changed to Chair, a play on words with the country code of Switzerland (CH), including an independent brand identity. Initially equipped with an A319, which is now released in the 1/500 scale, the fleet has since expanded to include three A320s, which mainly serve vacation destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
