Accessory pack - Cyclists.
• WIKING showed a heart for cyclists early on
Anyone who is used to rolling out the historical road map will now welcome the opportunity to add cyclists from historical moulds to the scenery. Revitalizing the erstwhile accessories in pairs, WIKING is now allowing the miniaturized road users to roll into the portfolio in three different colours. Back in the day, the bike-riding figurines were intended to breathe life into the “traffic school” on the approximated 1:90 scale. To this end, WIKING founder Fritz Peltzer had a multitude of road maps designed, intending them to serve - if you will - as a traffic-friendly play area. Sold as paper rolls, they were commercially available for many years and could be easily rolled out on the kitchen table of the house - lifelike traffic education with a playful impetus was the idea behind the WIKING play system, which was supposed to go far beyond the model-making idea at the time. Some time ago, WIKING had re-released the traffic map as a reprint.
