Vikings were piratical in nature a lot of the time, especially in early encounters with foreign lands. They sailed with their longboats up rivers to attack places that never expected a sea attack as most ships were not capable of that feat. Kidnapping women and children was very common as they were far easier captives than men to control over long sea voyages. These were sold as slaves for profit or trade, or kept to work the land in the Vikings absence when they raided. Some Vikings had children with their female captives, which could cause problems with their wives at home.
This is a single piece as both figures are united. It is a useful piece for enriching Viking dioramas or to illustrate raiding tactics. Vikings did not just kill everyone after all. They loved wealth and people were part of the prize of plundering the coastlines of England.
This is a 40mm scale metal figure and you can cast many of them from this mould. You should be able to cast between 2 and 3 figures from a bar of metal, as the combined figure will take up more metal than normal.
