Electronic signal towers ESTW are gradually replacing conventional mechanical signal towers. These are railway installations in which points, signals, track locks and other moving devices are positioned by means of electric actuators. Signals are exclusively light signals. Outdoor devices are placed at a maximum distance of 6.5 km. High antenna mast transmit the commands.
