Everyone was awaiting the Büssing 4500 - just like Bolle in the old adage
And today, everyone who sees it has fun like Bolle! This is because WIKING is reuniting us with the Büssing 4500 in the form of a miniature that is as agile as the original Braunschweig lorry and made deliveries in the country and in the cities alike. The divided City of Berlin especially came to adore this little Büssing as it made the C. Bolle dairy and its reliable supply of fresh milk highly popular. WIKING used historic moulds to combine this classic with the same flatbed with rails that originated under the aegis of master model maker Alfred Kedzierski and went on to be used in the horse-and-cart combination for many years as well. The traditional model makers are well aware of how significant the Büssing series have been for WIKINGs history. In light of the success of its unglazed version, it is no wonder that the Büssing type 4500 is now enjoying a renaissance at the model makers. Now, naturally, as a glazed version - but without abandoning its unmistakable formal aesthetics that springs from its WIKING DNA. Boasting a payload of 4.5 tonnes and a total weight of 8.7 tonnes, the type 4500 is intended to round out the distribution transport fleet.
