There is no doubt about it: the Taunus I, built from 1970 until 1975, has become a legend. The Ford Taunus series from 1970 onwards featured thirty-four versions. The three chassis types (limousine, station wagon and coupe), as two, four, and five door versions, were released as Standard (no type), L, XL, GT and GLX. The Knudsen Taunus (named after the American Ford-Chief Designer from the late 1960s), featured a 4-cylinder range (1,3L and 1,6L) as well as the V6-Engine (2,0L and later 2,3L). During this period, the Taunus was rather similar to the British Cortina.. Item was produced in different colors. Delivered color might deviate from the photo.
