Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) type Lbgjs 598 universal transport car. Designed to transport 'pa' containers ('From door to door') and large containers.

Model: The car's frame is constructed of metal. The car has a close coupler mechanism. The 'pa' containers for beer are new tooling, here for Dortmunder Union Brewery, Inc. Length over the buffers 92 mm / 3-5/8'.

Highlights: 'pa' containers for liquids are new tooling.
