Barrel cargo from the Ruhr region: Round hood in the service of the Scholven company

The petrochemical site took its name from the district of Gelsenkirchen. From then on, everyone knew that mineral oil stood behind the Scholven company. The company dispatched both bitumen road tankers and lorries loaded with the typical barrel cargo. With the Magirus S 3500 collectors can now get their hands on the third Scholven model crafted by WIKING's model makers.

1958-67

Round hood - the pinnacle of yesteryear

Magirus driver's cab as well as chassis, fenders and wheels blue. Interior with seat and steering wheel iron grey. Flatbed and oil barrels black-blue. Front radiator grille imprinted black-blue with silver frame and Magirus-Deutz logo. Door handles silver on both sides. Side lettering Scholven Chemie on the flatbed blue. Tail lights imprinted carmine red.
