Rear tipper semi-truck (Magirus Deutz) - blue.
Last square hood generation was a favourite at the construction site.
Whenever the daily grind at the construction site called for sheer power, the Magirus-Deutz “Howlers” were the vehicles of choice. Powered by an air-cooled Deutz engine, the last generation of this square hood commuted between the quarries and the cement works - just as its predecessors before it. Back then, the body construction experts at Blumhardt in Wuppertal had provided the prototype for WIKING's semi-trailer. The tractor unit from Ulm pulling it makes the tractor-trailer combination complete. Perfectly matching the style of the 1970s, the look of this last square hood generation inspired the designers at WIKING to treat the model to the same slightly stylised design of the tractor unit chassis. The resulting WIKING style is as congenial as it is unmistakable.
