Flatbed lorry (Magirus) - luminous red

The Economic Miracle era had great demand for explosives hauls that could serve a multitude of different use cases – whether for building highways or during tunnel construction. WIKING has miniaturised the three-axle Magirus square hood with tarp and given it a contemporary design. Powered by the thundering air-cooled Deutz engine of the time, the lorry produced in Ulm embodied an entire generation of lorries and was omnipresent on the roads of post-war Germany.

Driver’s cab with chassis, cardan shaft, wheel rims and flatbed luminous red. Tarp beige with hazmat sign on the sides as well as lettering warning of explosion hazard. Front bumper and rear imprint on side of flatbed with black and yellow diagonal warning stripes.
