This is how the forklifts and baggage trucks from Esslingen reached the customer
WIKING has long had the successful vehicles from the Esslingen machinery manufacturer in its range: The baggage truck and also the first forklift were created in the form of their prototypes and deployed on thousands of model railways. A heavy duty truck with trailer now makes its first appearance. This also used to deliver the other machines from the real-world manufacturer to their recipient. The Mercedes-Benz L 5000 has a heavy load flatbed with tarp, while the low-loader was able to master loads weighing many tons. Mining and industrial railways, plus forklifts Maschinenfabrik Esslingen had a broad product range. In 1965 took Daimler-Benz over a majority of the shares in Maschinenfabrik Esslingen from the Gutehoffnungshütte company. The forklift truck business was later taken over by Still as is known, WIKING has also remained true to these forklifts.

Radiator grille with Mercedes-Benz star, silver, indicators orange. Silver Maschinenfabrik Esslingen lettering on driver's cab doors. Front headlamps hand-painted. Low-loader with rear fenders, swing axle, and draw-bar azure blue, flatbed inlay basalt grey, wheels silver. Rear lamps printed red.
