Flygplan Olympic Airways Boeing 727-200
Founded by shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis in 1957, the classic Olympic Airways quickly grew to a world-renowned airline. A total of ten Boeing 727 trijets joined the fleet starting in 1968 and were used on routes throughout Europe and the Middle East. Named for the seat of the old gods of Greek mythology, this 727 never left Ellinikon International Airport despite it being closed in 2001. New plans have resurfaced to refurbish SX-CBA and put it on public display on the ground of the old airport which is to be redesigned as a new business and residential area.
