Flygplan KLM Douglas DC-9-15 - PH-DNA "Amsterdam"
From the DC-2 of 1934 to the MD-11 of 1990, KLM ordered everything the Californian aircraft designer had to offer. With the DC-9, KLM became the first non-American airline to put Douglass first twinjet into service, at the same time presenting a new color scheme. The original of this model was introduced as KLMs first DC-9-15 in March 1966, named City of Amsterdam. Starting in 1967, 22 more stretched DC-9-32s joined KLM. The last DC-9s left the fleet in 1989.
