To achieve this and other sustainable solutions for environmental protection, the Lufthansa Group CleanTech Hub was established as a competence center for climate protection technologies.

The flying ambassador for this project is D-AIVD, and for a good reason: The A350 is considered the cleanest and most modern aircraft of its size in the fleet and consumes almost 30 percent less kerosene than various predecessors.
