With the increase of worldwide travel in recent months, Etihad Airways has also finally put its A350-1000s into service.

These had, directly following delivery from Airbus and even before the pandemic broke out, been stored as the airline first wanted to finalize its fleet restructuring program.

The covid situation then resulted in an extended duration of their storage. In the meantime, the first of the new flagships are in service and are scheduled to replace the last Boeing 777s by the end of 2023.
