Flygplan Deutsche BA Fokker 100 - D-ADFA
Registration/Kennung: D-ADFA
With the unification of the two German states in 1990, Allied traffic rights to and from Berlin, whose western sectors could only be served by British, French, and airlines from the USA at the time of the division, ceased to exist.
After the reunification of Germany, British Airways attempted to maintain its market position through a German subsidiary.
BA secured its German license when it took over Delta Air in 1992, renaming the airline Deutsche BA. Seven Fokker 100s initially formed the fleet which received a livery derived from parent British Airways.
