Flygplan ITA Airways Airbus A220-300 Born to be Sustainable EI-HHI

Delivered in September 2022, EI-HHI was the first of four A220s currently operated by ITA. Instead of the eye-catching blue livery, the Italian airline decided to underline the sustainability of the currently smallest aircraft in the fleet with a clear message. Not only is the A220 up to 50% quieter than older aircraft, but it also reduces CO2 emissions and kerosene consumption by around 25% compared to the A320 fleet. The four aircraft will initially be used from Rome on routes to Geneva, Genoa, Milan, Munich, Naples and Zurich.
