Beskrivning
Flygplan Jersey European British Aerospace BAe 146-300 G-JEAM "Pride of Jersey"
Jersey European Airways was founded through a merger of two regional airlines in 1979. Its fleet in the 1990s was centered around the versatile British Aerospace 146. As the Exeter, South West England based airline grew well beyond routes to and from Jersey, the airline shortened its name to British European, and shortly thereafter to FlyBe. Having operated a mixed fleet of BAe 146-100s, -200s and -300s, our 1/200 scale release depicts G-JEAM, a long-bodied 300-series aircraft, named Pride of Jersey, which entered service with Jersey European Airways in 1993, and, later on carrying the FlyBe brand, was operated until 2008.
