The riot police could neither do without this vehicle nor did they want to. Nearly all federal states procured the Unimog U 1700 for various areas of operation that had nothing to do with regular patrol duty. For many years, the police Unimog was part of the all-round vehicle fleets operated by the riot police units in the federal states. Especially for the miniaturization of this vehicle, WIKING had built a new tarp, which now allows the Unimog to roll into the portfolio of emergency vehicles as a true-to-the-original model.
