Curved turnout left BWI 2/3 for manual operation. Radius of the main track and the branch track 358mm (R2)/30 deg. With bedding. Matching electric drive:
42620 or 42624.
The use of the curved turnout R2/R3 for long to-scale express train coaches (length over buffers more than 300mm) is inconvenient because the parallel distance in the area of the counterswitch is geometrically slightly reduced, therefore two wagons approaching each other with a length over buffers of more than 300mm will not be able to pass each other properly.
